Contents:
VoN2®
- What is VoN2®?
- It's the next step in the evolution of voice communications.
- Who uses VoN2®?
- More people than you might think! For instance, NASA has used VoN2® as a primary communications technology on a number of space missions.
- Can I use VoN2® with my cellular provider?
- Almost certainly! Nearly ever major cellular service provider already provides VoN2® gateways.
- Are there licensing restrictions on VoN2® usage?
- None! Our vision was to make voice communications ubiquitous and "as free as the air"; you can use VoN2® for anything you want, and you never have to pay us a penny.
Nitrogen®
- What is Nitrogen®?
- Nitrogen® is the ubiquitous substrate medium used to transfer VoN2® data from one person to another. We've worked hard to make Nitrogen® completely invisible to you—you may not even realize when you're using it!
- Will Nitrogen® overload my computer?
- No! In fact, in our experiments so far, using VoN2® instead of competing voice chat technologies often reduces system load.
About the technology
- How does VoN2® work?
- VoN2® encodes the sound of your voice as a series of "pulses" of varying depth and length, allowing an "analog" representation of the sound. This encoding provides the purest possible sound quality, dramatically improving clarity over the common "lossy" compression systems used by most voice chat technologies.
- How fast is VoN2®?
- VoN2® technology provides essentially instantaneous communications, when used without gateways. Gateway technologies can introduce some lag, but this is normally imperceptible.
